Loadstar Dispatchers (1963) Ltd. maintenance division deals with the servicing and maintenance of heavy trucks, trailers and heavy duty equipment.  This role is suitable for those individuals looking for a career in heavy duty mechanics.

 

Requirements for these positions include:

 

• Enrollment in apprenticeship program or a heavy duty mechanic certificate 

• Familiarity and experience with heavy duty trucks, trailers and equipment

• Must demonstrate proficiency with all tools of the trade, shop machines and power tools

• Hard working, reliable, good work ethic and a team orientated positive attitude 

 

* Individuals with heavy duty equipment or heavy truck mechanic license are preferred as well as those who have experience with Kenworth, Mack, International and Western Star Trucks as well as Komatsu and Volvo Loaders.

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

• The servicing of heavy duty diesel trucks

• The light repair of engines or engine components

• CVI’s (commercial vehicle inspections)

• Lubrications and oil changes of heavy duty trucks, trailers, tractors, etc.  

• General maintenance of heavy duty trucks, trailers, tractors, etc.
